Last weekend we said goodbye to our graduating players and gifted them the jersey that they proudly wore with the logo that they left their individual impact on. Colby started skating with the Islanders at the age of 16. His official rookie season was 2022-2023 where he wasted no time and put up 26 points in 46 games! The following year, Robinson was a key part of the team that went all the way to the finals after taking a South Victory in the North! For his third year, as an Assistant Captain, he helped the Club to an impressive 37 Wins , 7 Losses, 3 Overtime losses and a regular season championship banner! Colby in his final season was the KP Captain-a role that truly showcased his incredible leadership. Colby played 186 Regular season VIJHL games all as an Islander and collected 120 regular season points. This year, he was awarded the team MVP as well as the Phil Downie memorial scholarship fund award. It is hard to imagine the KP Bench without this true Fan Favourite. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Colby for all your contributions to the Islanders. We wish you nothing but success in your bright future. Once an Islander, Always an Islander

We first saw Ben Stocks at a VIJHL tri team tryout 5 years ago in Sidney. Management instantly noticed his compete and effort and had no doubt that he had the heart of an Islander. Benjamin joined the KP islanders for the 2022-2023 season where he played hard and gained meaningful experience in his rookie year. In 2023-2024, Benny played a big role in helping KP get to the league finals after a huge cross over series in the North! For the 2024-2025 season he continued his leadership role and helped the Isles to win the regular season banner! This past season, Stocks put up almost a point again, leading the team in scoring and earning the top forward award. He was also a recipient of the Phil Downie Scholarship Award. We will miss this power forward and wish him all the best in his bright future. Thank you Ben for choosing the Islanders as your home for 4 consecutive years. Cam Ross played for the Islanders for his rookie season. We were lucky enough to welcome him and his never quit attitude back this year! Ross is that hard nose player that every coach wants in his line up. He gives it his all every shift; blocking shots, finishing checks and showing up for his team mates every game! We wish him all the best in his future endeavours and thank him for all his contributions to the Club. Once an Islander, Always an Islander. Thank you Cam!!!
